AC-Glabridin is an extract of the root of the Licorice, Glycyrrhiza glabra L. developed as a whitening agent for cosmetics. The components are glabridin, glabrene, formonometin, glabrol etc. It has fine pigmentation and skin whitening, anti-inflammation functions, free radical scavenging activity, lipoxygenase activity inhibition and tyrosinase inhibition activity.
